Each year we strive to bring in the most relevant, up to date, informational speakers possible to Manitoba Ag Days. This year is no exception: the program has been finalized for the 2027 show and the depth of knowledge in this selection of speakers is amazing.
We could not put on such a world class speaking event if it were not for our partnerships with FCC, MNP, Manitoba Agriculture, Manitoba Canola Growers, Manitoba Crop Alliance and the Manitoba Pulse and Soybean Growers Association and of course the presenters themselves. Santosh Kumar

Dr. Santosh Kumar is a wheat breeder with Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada. His program focuses on wheat germplasm improvement and cultivar development for Western Canada. Dr. Kumar did his PhD and post-doctoral training at the University of Manitoba. Dr. Kumar has released 16 CWRS varieties and published over 40 peer-reviewed scientific manuscripts. Dr. Kumar lives in Brandon with his wife and two kids.
