Speakers
Each year we strive to bring in the most relevant, up to date, informational speakers possible to Manitoba Ag Days. This year is no exception: the program has been finalized for the 2027 show and the depth of knowledge in this selection of speakers is amazing.
We could not put on such a world class speaking event if it were not for our partnerships with FCC, MNP, Manitoba Agriculture, Manitoba Canola Growers, Manitoba Crop Alliance and the Manitoba Pulse and Soybean Growers Association and of course the presenters themselves. We thank you for partnering with us for the 2027 Show!
CCA's make sure you plan your day so you can take in these sessions.
Greg Stewart, Dr.
Dr. Greg Stewart is the founder and CEO of Geco Strategic Weed Management, a Canadian ag-tech company using satellite imagery and AI to help farmers understand where weeds have occurred and predict where they are likely to appear in the coming season. Geco works with more than 180 farms across Canada, turning weed maps into practical tools for targeted herbicide applications, variable-rate seeding and other integrated weed management decisions. Greg has a PhD in engineering from UBC and more than 20 years of experience developing data, automation and control technologies across agriculture and other industries. His focus at Geco is on making advanced technology practical for farmers, agronomists and the equipment they already use.
