Kristen Phillips is the General Manager of MB Ag Days, one of Western Canada’s premier agricultural trade shows. Raised on a farm, Kristen brings firsthand knowledge of primary production and a real passion for agriculture to her leadership role. Her farming background gives her practical insight into the needs and challenges facing today’s producers, helping ensure the event remains relevant, innovative, and producer-focused. Kristen’s professional experience spans several key organizations within Manitoba’s agriculture industry. She has worked with the Canola Council of Canada, supporting initiatives that advance canola research, agronomy, and market development. Her time with Manitoba Agriculture provided valuable experience in public-sector programming and producer services. She also worked with Westman Aerial Spraying, further strengthening her connection to crop production and on-farm operations. Beyond her professional work, Kristen is deeply committed to her community. Many know her from her competitive curling days but now she focuses on her three daughters and their goals and dreams; she is an avid softball coach, and serves as a 4-H head leader, mentoring youth and helping foster the next generation of agricultural and community leaders. Known for her collaborative leadership style, strong organizational skills, and passion for rural life, Kristen continues to guide MB Ag Days as a cornerstone event that brings together farmers, agribusiness professionals, and industry leaders from across the Prairies and beyond.
