Each year we strive to bring in the most relevant, up to date, informational speakers possible to Manitoba Ag Days. This year is no exception: the program has been finalized for the 2027 show and the depth of knowledge in this selection of speakers is amazing.
We could not put on such a world class speaking event if it were not for our partnerships with FCC, MNP, Manitoba Agriculture, Manitoba Canola Growers, Manitoba Crop Alliance and the Manitoba Pulse and Soybean Growers Association and of course the presenters themselves. Mary-Jane Orr

Mary-Jane Orr is the General Manager for Manitoba Beef & Forage Initiatives Inc where she leads a dedicated team to advance Manitoba beef and forage industries through engaging stakeholders, evaluating on-farm innovation, and extension for sustainability of farmers, the public, and the environment. She grew up on a mixed farm and continues to work in southwest Manitoba. Mary-Jane is a Professional Agrologist, Certified Crop Advisor, and holds a PhD that focused on soil microbial ecology in agricultural systems. Mary-Jane deeply values the opportunity to collaborate with producers, researchers, extension specialists, and industry groups in field-testing new technologies and management practices for improved production in Manitoba.
