Each year we strive to bring in the most relevant, up to date, informational speakers possible to Manitoba Ag Days. This year is no exception: the program has been finalized for the 2027 show and the depth of knowledge in this selection of speakers is amazing.
We could not put on such a world class speaking event if it were not for our partnerships with FCC, MNP, Manitoba Agriculture, Manitoba Canola Growers, Manitoba Crop Alliance and the Manitoba Pulse and Soybean Growers Association and of course the presenters themselves. Don Flaten

Don Flaten retired in 2021 from his position as professor in nutrient management and crop nutrition in the Department of Soil Science at the University of Manitoba. Earlier in his career at the U of M, Don served as the Director of the School of Agriculture as well as an Associate Dean for the Faculty of Agricultural and Food Sciences. Before joining the U of M, Don held positions as the Provincial Soils Specialist for Saskatchewan Ministry of Agriculture and as a District Agriculturist for Alberta Agriculture.
