Each year we strive to bring in the most relevant, up to date, informational speakers possible to Manitoba Ag Days. This year is no exception: the program has been finalized for the 2026 show and the depth of knowledge in this list is profound!
We could not put on such a world class speaking event if it were not for our partnerships with FCC, MNP, Manitoba Agriculture, Manitoba Canola Growers Association, Manitoba Crop Alliance and the Manitoba Pulse and Soybean Growers Association and of course the presenters themselves. Peter Watts, Managing Director

Born and raised in Winnipeg, Peter graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy from the University of Winnipeg in 1989, followed by a Master’s degree in International Relations in 1996 from Laval University in Quebec City. After interning with the Canadian Grain Commission he worked as a Market Analyst at the Canadian Wheat Board for nine years analyzing global grain markets. In 2005 Peter moved to Pulse Canada as Director of Market Innovation helping Canada’s pulse industry create new, valued added markets. He took over the position of Managing Director at the CMBTC in the summer of 2014 and in this role Peter oversees company operations.
