Ag Days 2026 Is One Month Away!

Produced on the Prairies Continues into 2026
Manitoba Ag Days 2026 will showcase “People, products, and opportunities that are Produced on the
Prairies.” said Mike Cousins, Co-Chair of the Manitoba Ag Days Board of Directors. He went on to say,
“The theme, Produced on the Prairies, will be evident throughout the show in a number of ways,
including through the return of the Produced on the Prairies Market as well as in our speaking theatres.”
Tuesday morning begins with the Kickoff Breakfast, which is a fantastic way to start off the day before
taking in the 580 exhibitors on the trade show floor. Proceeds from the breakfast are invested into
agricultural education, which in turn, drives the talent that is Produced on the Prairies. Ag in the
Classroom – Manitoba is committed to connecting teachers and learners to agriculture.
The Produced on the Prairies Market, returns to the show with more vendors. This year each day of the
show will feature ten unique vendors, so be sure to visit the FCC Pavilion each day! You will find the
Produced on the Prairies Market at the top of the main ramp. Be sure to stop in and learn about how you
can enjoy these local products and support the farmers who help to produce them.
The 2026 speaking line up features Prairie talent and reflects the issues that Manitoba farmers and
ranchers face by bringing those farmers to the stage to share their experiences. Two farmer panels will
discuss both crops and livestock as they talk about how they make choices to drive profitability in their
operations and how on-farm research impacts real-time decisions. Our Thursday afternoon program
features From Idea to Aisle featuring local entrepreneurs followed by Arlene Dickinson answering
questions about the global competitiveness of Canadian-made products, the importance of building
resilient domestic value chains, and strategies to foster consumer loyalty to local goods.
“Agriculture has a huge impact across the prairies and this theme is a way to showcase and celebrate the
many ways in which agriculture influences the economy, job creation, and trade. At Manitoba Ag Days
we can see examples of farmer-built innovations, entrepreneurial visionaries and the human impact of
ag-focused educational investments.” commented the show General Manager, Kristen Phillips. “We are
proud to feature exhibitors who build and innovate right here, so watch for special Produced on the
Prairies flags throughout the trade show.”
