Show Manager recognized as one of six influential women in Canadian Agriculture!

August 21, 2020

The board of directors of Manitoba Ag Days would like to congratulate Kristen Phillips on her recognition as an Influential Women in Canadian Agriculture (IWCA).  Kristen leads our organization with such class, dedication and determination.  Kristen is the type of person who pushes each of us to be out of the box thinkers but reigns us back into reality as required.  We are so thankful that she made the decision to take on the general manager role with us in 2016.

The IWCA recognition program was designed by Ag Annex Media to honour, highlight and celebrate the work women are doing across Canada’s agriculture industry.

Congratulation to all 6 of the 2020 nominees:

Peggy Brekveld, dairy farmer and agvocate, Ontario

Barbara Cade-Menun, research scientist, Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada, Saskatchewan

Karen Schuett, CEO and co-founder of Livestock Water Recycling, Alberta

Karen Schwean-Lardner, associate professor, University of Saskatchewan, Saskatchewan
