Know Before You Go – Top Ten for Ag Days 2023
Canada’s largest indoor farm show will kick off the three-day event on Tuesday January 17th. This year’s show will include over 550 exhibitors with both indoor and outdoor displays at the Keystone Centre, in Brandon Manitoba.
There are several key highlights to point out:
1) This year’s theme is Farmer Health, Safety and Wellness. The theme will be evident throughout the show as patrons can participate in interactive virtual reality experiences, take in various speakers and support the Manitoba Farm Wellness program through the purchase of Ag Days t-shirts.
2) For the first time in 46 years we will have a paid admission fee. You can purchase your tickets now at www.agdays.com/tickets Early Bird tickets are $15 per day or $20 at the door. There is also a three day pass available for $40. We are a not for profit show and any profits made on the show are paid forward to community projects and services through our Ag Days Gives Back Fund.
3) 50/50 ticket sales have already started and the funds raised will benefit our Ag Days Gives Back Community Giving Program. Last year’s winner took home $12 865.00! Tickets can be purchased at www.agdays.com/buy5050 or at the show through our mobile sellers or at the top of the ramp. 4) Manitoba Ag Days Gives Back will announce this years’ recipients on Tuesday, January 17th at 9:00 AM in the MNP Theatre. Well over $347,500 has been awarded to support youth ag education and rural community development in Manitoba and Saskatchewan over the past decade. This year eight community fire departments will be receiving a $2000 grant, three $1000 post secondary scholarships will be awarded and Ag in the Classroom – Manitoba will receive the Education and Leadership Grant in the amount of $10 000 to carry out the Manitoba Ag Days Adventure with hundreds of students.
5) The Innovation Showcase features seven categories and 32 contenders, and is presented by the seven brands of Glacier Farm Media. Patrons can read about the innovations here and can visit the exhibitors at the show to ask questions, check out products first hand and see how these innovations might fit in their operations. The Winners of each category will be announced on Wednesday, January 18th at the show.
6) Our complimentary speaking program has something for everyone, with over 70 speakers. Topic experts will speak to maximizing yields, new and used equipment, emerging technology and cattle markets. The program also includes several panel discussions with producers who are sharing their experiences from the 2022 growing season and in building diverse businesses. We were approved for 33 continuing education units for Certified Crop Agronomists.
7) Bull Congress includes 17 farms showcasing their latest genetics. Sale Dates are all published in our official publication. Be sure to come and talk to the families showcasing their animals. The best of the best are at our show!

9) Manitoba Ag Day’s Adventure with Ag in the Classroom will take place January 17, 18 and 19. Students will learn about food, food production and how food gets on their table. The theme is “Agriculture- Think Global, Act Local” highlighting a global perspective. During COVID Manitoba AG Days continued to invest in AITC-MB and we created a new online experience Think Global Agriculture & Our World Resource which can be used for self study or be led by a teacher. It will be promoted throughout the month of January and in conjunction with the students and the schools that are attending Manitoba Ag Days.
10) January can be cold, but we are sending out a warm welcome. The Kickoff Breakfast will take place in the Great Western Roadhouse from 7:30am-9:00am on Tuesday, January 17th and is presented by Heritage Co-Op. The Murray Chevrolet Cadillac Buick GMC and Mazer Group shuttle bus will pick you up at your vehicle and deliver you to the doors of the Keystone Centre and Bayer CropScience Canada has provided a safe and secure, complimentary coat check 500 meters from Entrance B; right outside the Flynn Arena.

Manitoba Ag Days show is an annual three-day exposition of agriculture production expertise, technology and equipment that attracts exhibitors and visitors from across Canada and the United States of America held at the Keystone Centre in Brandon Manitoba.
