Are you a farmer/rancher or landholder planning your transition? Or, are you a young farmer/rancher looking to step into a farm management position or scale your operation? Join us for an interactive session to help you establish good communication and set the stage for a successful farm transition!

Farm transitions aren’t just about the business, it’s also about the people. Plenty of resources and support are available to help you make the best decisions on the numbers side. This session is focused on helping you establish and maintain a good dynamic between the people involved. Whether the farm is being transitioned to a family or non-family member, maintaining good relationships is essential to a successful transition.

Lydia Carpenter will facilitate this session, and it is open to everyone, whether you’re involved in a land transition or not. It is a great opportunity for all of us to learn more about what each generation needs, expects and deserves.

This workshop is in collaboration with the Keystone Agricultural Producers, Prairie Fruit Growers Association and Young Agrarians.
