Ag Days 2025 is one month away!

We are one month away from the 48th Annual Manitoba Ag Days Show. We are all set to transform the Keystone Centre in Brandon, Manitoba into Canada’s Largest Indoor Farm Show for three days of all things agriculture! “The three-day event is an exposition of agricultural production, expertise,  technology and equipment that celebrates all things Produced on the Prairies.” explains Kristen Phillips, Manitoba Ag Days General Manager.

The 2025 show has a great mix of new features and returning favorites! The food and beverage tasting event returns for a second year in the historic dome building on Monday, January 20th. The evening will feature local beer, gin and cider, non-alcoholic options and snacks. Another farmer favorite is the Innovation Showcase, which is bigger than ever this year, with 34 contenders. “The Innovation Showcase includes every sector of ag across seven categories and provides a great way for companies to introduce products while also allowing farmers to get details about which innovations are best suited to their operations” explained Dwayne Leslie, Innovation Showcase chair. For a full list of entries for the 2025 show, please visit https://www.agdays.com/innovations/

“Agriculture is always evolving and producers want to keep current on new technology, market trends, and best practices for the upcoming growing season. This year’s program has an exceptional lineup of speakers across each of these areas.” stated Hannah Minshull, Program chair. “We also really bring the Produced on the Prairies theme to light on Wednesday afternoon; that program is full of sessions that you will not want to miss!” To see the full speaker listing and schedule please visit https://www.agdays.com/schedule

Produced on the Prairies Continues into 2025

Manitoba Ag Days 2025 will showcase “People, products, and opportunities that are Produced on the Prairies.” said Mike Cousins, Co-Chair of the Manitoba Ag Days Board of Directors. He went on to say, “The theme, Produced on the Prairies, will be evident throughout the show in a number of ways, including through the NEW Produced on the Prairies Market as well as in our speaking theatres.”

If you are looking for something to do on Monday before the show, the craft beer tasting event is returning for a second year. It will be held in the Provincial Exhibition Historic Dome Building, starting at 7pm  and will feature over a dozen local food and beverage products. “These breweries represent entrepreneurs who have invested hours of time and energy into perfecting their craft and offering a unique flavor for their customers. We can’t wait to see people realize the diversity of the prairie brew industry, and hopefully go home with a new favorite beer.” said show experience co-chair Scott Perkin.

Tuesday morning begins with the  Kickoff Breakfast, which is a fantastic way to start off the day before taking in the over 550 exhibitors on the trade show floor. Proceeds from the breakfast are invested into agricultural education, which in turn, drives the talent that is Produced on the Prairies. Ag in the Classroom – Manitoba is committed to connecting teachers and learners to agriculture.

NEW to the 2025 show is the Produced on the Prairies Market, which will feature new food and beverage vendors over each day of the show. Show attendees can go to the top of the ramp to take in the FCC Pavillion and learn about how you can enjoy these local products and support the farmers who help to produce them.

“Agriculture has a huge impact across the prairies and this theme is a way to showcase and celebrate the many ways in which agriculture influences the economy, job creation, and trade. At Manitoba Ag Days we can see examples of farmer-built innovations, entrepreneurial visionaries and the human impact of ag-focused educational investments.” commented the show General Manager, Kristen Phillips.

Manitoba Ag Days is where the ag year begins! The program is finalized and the speaking line up is
phenomenal. The program committee listened to requests and suggestions as they assembled a
speaking line up that’s all agriculture. “We have two theaters running for all three days, with a full day of
presenters in each location. Once you browse the program you will want to come to all three days of the
show!” exclaimed Hannah Minshull, program committee lead for Manitoba Ag Days.

We know that our attendees like to hear about the many different topics that impact their farming
operations. Our speakers include industry experts like agronomists, economists and entomologists. We
also have speakers who run operations like those of our attendees; farmers who make decisions about
fertility, weaning practices and marketing risks as part of their farming operations.

We are very fortunate to work with great partners like Manitoba Canola Growers Association, Manitoba
Crop Alliance and Manitoba Pulse and Soybean Growers. Each of these grower associations supports a
half day of our program that focuses specifically on current research, the most prevalent issues from the
past growing season and how to best prepare for the upcoming season. “We take great pride in having a
speaker program with something for everyone.” noted Minshull.
