The Winner of the Farm Safety Category of the Innovation Showcase was Michel’s Industires with their innovation the Camera Arm.

Camera Arm – Michel’s Camera Arms C/W a camera mounted to a spring loaded arm which pops up when the tarp system is opened and is retracted under the protection of the tarp when the tarp system is closed keeping the arm under height requirements for travel yet allows enough height when in use to see over the piles of grain when loading. The cameras connect to a 7” high quality Wireless Monitor in the semi cab allowing single view of one camera, split view of 2 cameras or quad view of up to 4 cameras.

The Winner of the Animal and Livestock Category of the Innovation Showcase was Roquette with their new product Pea Cream – a liquid livestock feed.

Pea Cream – Pea Cream is a new-to-Canada, liquid livestock feed produced at the Portage pea protein plant using wet pea pulp/concentrated pea soluble. Pea Cream offers producers a local, sustainable feed that may reduce impact from supply chain/weather events.

Pea cream is a mix of the wet pulp obtained during starch separation and the concentrated solubles obtained following protein extraction. The level of protein can vary from 15 to 25% on a dry matter basis, depending on the raw materials and the process conditions.

BIODRYAIR – Triple Green Products has developed and tested a better way of drying your grain without the use of propane or natural gas and the high cost associated with these traditionally used fossil fuels and the associated carbon tax. Our BioDryAir system hooks up to your existing grain dryer and provides very dry, hot air to efficiently and cost effectively dry your crops. The BioDryAir is fully automated and can be monitored using a cell phone. The BioDryAir comes in multiple sizes to best suit the farmers needs.
