Jeff was born and raised in Brandon.  After graduating from Brandon University, his wife Jody and he committed to living and raising a family in Brandon.  With 25 years of business experience and involvement in community organizations such as the YMCA, the Art Gallery of Southwestern Manitoba, the BU Foundation and the Chamber of Commerce, as well as 12 years on City Council, Jeff felt he was prepared to run for the office of Mayor. The opportunities to work with Federal, Provincial and Indigenous governments, an understanding of City operations and procedures, combined with years of community involvement in diverse areas (Arts, Education, Business, Social), has prepared Jeff to make the next step in assisting in growing, enhancing, leading  and representing the City of Brandon.
