Water quality can have a significant impact on herbicide performance. It is a good idea to obtain a water test to understand what is in your water. Join Tom as he reviews some sample water test results and discusses what can be done about unsuitable hardness, bicarbonates, pH, or suspended solids. In particular, Tom will discuss the suitability of Ammonium Sulphate and pH adjusters to correct hard water.

This session will cover the 4Rs of nitrogen management and what happens in your field depending on the source, the time, the place and the rate of your nitrogen management plan. These management practices have a direct effect on the nitrogen use efficiency of crop production, and making adjustments may have an impact on how much access to that nitrogen the crop will have. 

Graeme will provide an economic update for grains, oilseeds and pulses.  He will share insight into risks and opportunities within the marketplace.  He will focus on Canada as a whole but also share insights on North America.
